What is Art Journal?
The loose generic definition for Art journal is... ‘A notebook that mixes text and images’...
However, sometimes, there is no text, sometimes there are no images and sometimes it is not even a book ...confused, you will be!
Art journaling is putting words and colours together. But for most of us it is more, much more. It is a medium which allow them to record daily life, feelings, artistic inspiration in one place. It can be a spiritual/meditative practice and one way to set your creative spirit free and lose yourself. It allows you to focus, express yourself, play and make mistakes.
But most importantly, it helps you to exercise your creative muscles.
Today I am sharing with you some visuals journals; they come in many shapes, sizes, colours, and styles ...all unique, all different, and all inspiring! I have loosely categorized the works by the dominant feature on the page. This is by no means a complete list of styles; it is just to give you an idea
